The Islander is our traditional full-length hammock, handcrafted by skilled artisans on Fiji's Coral Coast, woven with the same warmth and care that makes Fijians famous the world over.

The Islander needs two anchor points roughly 3–4 metres apart. Two sturdy trees (15 cm+ diameter), timber posts, deck pergola beams, or a freestanding hammock stand designed for traditional hammocks all work perfectly.
Recommended hanging height: 180–220 cm (6–7 ft) from the ground at each end. A gentle sag in the middle is normal, don't hang it too tightly. The sweet spot is roughly 30° at each end for the most comfortable lie.
Outdoor use: Marine-grade varnish means it lives outdoors year-round, even in coastal conditions.

We got to use on of these hammocks while on vacation in Fiji. It was the best, most comfortable hammock I had ever seen! We decided to buy one for our home. That was very difficult to do about 7 years ago, but we did finally get one. I ordered this one as a gift. The email confirmation was a little delayed, but we did get confirmation and now I have the hammock! I can't wait to give it to the family I got it for. Turn around time has definetely improved
Fantastic, comfortable and works perfectly
We bought our chair in the airs from Kit when we lived in VANUATU. We used to come home from work and watch the sunset with a cold glass of wine. We now live in the U.K. and they are a permanent feature in our garden. We love them!
